The Money Markets desks operate various trading books and manage Santander’s global liquidity. These books are principally denominated in GBP, USD and EUR. A key element and responsibility within these areas is for funding the Total Santander Group in the wholesale markets up to 2 years.
Our Structured Finance and Money Market Trading activities are supported by dedicated Sales Teams who maintain strong relationships with a wide range of counterparties including central banks, supranationals, commercial, investment and universal banks, insurance companies, fund and other asset managers, corporates and local authorities.
